This day is for you if you’re looking to explore the villages of the Larnaca region through simple, meaningful experiences, combining local traditions with time spent in the countryside.
We move between villages and local encounters, discovering traditions and taking part in a hands-on workshop focused on traditional spoon sweets. Along the way, we enjoy a relaxed taverna meal. A balanced day with flavors, encounters, and villages’ charm.

We meet and begin our journey towards the villages of the Larnaca region.
Traditional Sweets Workshop
10:00 am to 12:30 pm
We visit a lovely woman who is professional in preparing traditional “spoon sweets” (they’ re fruit based sweets, can be similar a bit to jam) . After welcoming us into her space, she shows us around and introduces us to some fruits and trees around her place, depending on the season. We then sit together and prepare traditional spoon sweets or soutzoukos, guided step by step using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

Lunch at a Village Taverna
1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
We sit down for a relaxed meze meal at a village taverna, where small dishes are served gradually to share, featuring a variety of appetizers, dips, salads, and grills.
Village Discovery
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
We explore one of the villages of the region, either walking through Lefkara and discovering its lace-making tradition, or visiting a small family-run museum in Kato Drys that reflects rural life through objects and stories.
Drive Back
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
We make our way back, bringing the day to a gentle close.
